Stay strong at any age, no matter your goal.

About Me

My journey goes back to when I transitioned from high school and college athletics to training for individual goals.  In my early 20s I was athletic, but small and not particularly strong.  Drawing inspiration from iconic figures in bodybuilding and movies, I hit the gym with the intention of becoming strong like them.  Starting at 5’8” and 120 lbs. meant I had to approach training with both dedication and humility.

What I found is people admired those values and were always willing to guide me.  I had the wisdom to learn from as many athletes as I could and after enough time passed people began to ask me for guidance with their training.  The reward of being able to give back and help others on their fitness journey became a mission for me and that is why I am excited you are here.

I started to develop my physique in my mid 20’s and became confident in my ability to achieve success in the gym and eventually on stage as a competitive bodybuilder. Bodybuilding taught me a level of discipline which was beyond any other athletic endeavor I experienced before. The lifestyle of bodybuilding is difficult to sustain over the long term and finding other modalities of training became a priority for me. I developed a passion for endurance cycling which required perseverance to keep the pedals moving even when the mind starts saying “time to take a break.” That’s where KeepRidin became a foundational mindset: in that moment when the mind starts saying its time to stop and rest instead of pushing through to the end - to reverse that thought and embrace the moment by saying right now I am going to keep riding. I’ll rest when I reach my destination. KeepRidin became my username on Strava and Instagram, but eventually it became the central element of how I approach training. KeepRidin represents longevity and perseverance. A passionate journey to continue giving my best making age a non-factor.

Why I Became a Personal Trainer

Fitness has been a foundational aspect of my life for as long as I can remember. The lessons I learned through athletics and training have served me well in all aspects of life. Approaching every day with a mindset that no matter what else happens around me or the world we live in, I can carve out space to make an investment in myself to improve both physical and mental health. Workouts became a place for me to be the hero of my story. I want to share with you how to approach fitness like you are directing your own heroic story. Are you ready to cast yourself as the main character?

Your story belongs to you and no one else. You may be a young athlete striving to reach the next level, or a hard working parent who wants to get back in shape after a break from exercising regularly. You may be trying to get back to your best after recovering from an injury or simply trying to achieve a sustainable healthy and balanced lifestyle. Wherever you are in your journey, I am committed to helping you attain health, happiness and joy. My approach involves partnering with you to listen, understand, and provide you with inspiration, organization, and a personalized fitness plan focused on achieving your goals.
