Setting Expectations

You want to live healthier

You want to look younger

You want to be a stronger athlete

So how do you get there?

There is more than one path and the route you choose is personal.  Some key considerations:

Is there a rush to achieve the results you want?

Training for next month, next season or next year?

How much time can you commit on a weekly basis?

Where will you train?

Who will support you on this journey?

It’s Your Road — You Decide Where It Takes You

Many people need a challenge or an event to train for.  This could be a 5K or half marathon for example. Maybe it’s a powerlifting or bodybuilding competition?  There are many events and a lot of athletes are actually more motivated by the achievement of participating in the event than the training itself.  That’s ok as long as lifetime habits are being established in the process.

The journey is where you invest the time.  It is important you find joy and reward in your workouts.  Examine what makes you happy.

Do you really like exercising in nature?

Are you more motivated to workout in a group setting? By yourself? With a trainer?

What is your favorite mode of exercise?

Where do you see yourself in 6 months? In a year?

The choices you make determine the longevity of your fitness program which will impact your overall health and well being.
